EFFA 2025 MEDIA LAUNCH & GALA DINNER
The Energy Forum For Africa (EFFA) 2025 was officially launched with a strong call for increased investment and partnership in Africa’s energy sector. The CEO/Convener Eng. Hope Chanda highlighted that EFFA 2024 made Zambia a destination for sustainable financing in the energy sector. Another notable outcome from last year’s event was the creation of three task force committees with representation from IFC, AFDB and other international members.
EFFA ATTRACTS FINANCIERS AND POWER OFF-TAKERS AT CHISAMBA SOLAR PLANT
The Energy Forum For Africa (EFFA) 2024 was instrumental in ensuring the 100MW Chisamba Solar Plant’s successful commissioning. The Chisamba solar plant gained visibility at EFFA 2024 and attracted investment from Stanbic Bank and Africa Green-co who were Platinum sponsors at last year’s event.
