EFFA 2026 MEDIA LAUNCH & GALA DINNER
The Energy Forum For Africa (EFFA) hosted its Project Progress Report and Media Launch Gala Dinner on 24th April 2026 at the Mulungushi International Conference Center in Lusaka, bringing together government representatives, industry leaders, development partners, and private sector stakeholders.
The evening provided an opportunity to reflect on the tangible progress of projects and initiatives presented through EFFA since 2024, demonstrating how conversations around Africa’s energy future are translating into action.The event also higlighted Zambia’s growing energy investment opportunities and featured key updates from EFFA stakeholders and partners, while announcing new sponsors joining the upcoming EFFA 2026 Conference in October.
EFFA 2026 NETWORKING EVENT - GABORONE, BOTSWANA
On 24th February 2026, the Energy Forum for Africa took its regional engagement to Botswana, bringing together energy stakeholders for an evening of dialogue, networking, and collaboration. The roadshow provided a platform to explore Botswana’s energy landscape, investment opportunities, and the role of stronger regional partnerships in addressing Africa’s energy needs.
The engagement formed part of EFFA’s build-up to the 2026 Conference, themed “Driving a Borderless Energy Future for Africa.” By taking the conversation beyond Zambia and directly engaging stakeholders in regional markets, the Botswana Roadshow reinforced EFFA’s focus on connecting countries, industries, and investment opportunities across Africa’s energy value chain.
EFFA 2026 NETWORKING EVENT- SANDTON, SOUTH AFRICA
The Energy Forum for Africa (EFFA) continued its regional engagement in Sandton, South Africa, on 19th March 2026, bringing together energy professionals, investors, developers, and other industry stakeholders for an evening of networking and conversation around Africa’s evolving energy landscape.
Hosted at the Protea Hotel Balalaika, the roadshow provided an opportunity to introduce the EFFA 2026 vision to the South African market, exchange perspectives on investment and energy development, and strengthen connections between stakeholders across the region. The engagement formed part of EFFA’s wider regional build-up to the October conference themed “Driving a Borderless Energy Future for Africa.”
ZIMEFFA 2026 CONFERENCE - HARARE, ZIMBABWE
The Zimbabwe Energy Forum for Africa (ZIMEFFA) 2026 brought together government representatives, energy companies, investors, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders for a focused two-day engagement on Zimbabwe’s energy transition and investment opportunities. Held in Harare under the theme “Investment Opportunities in Zimbabwe’s Energy Transition,” the conference provided a platform to examine Zimbabwe’s energy landscape, emerging projects, investment opportunities, and the role of private-sector participation in accelerating energy development.
The conference was supported by leading organisations across Zimbabwe’s energy and financial sectors, including ZESA Holdings as Main Sponsor, Zambezi RA as Key Sponsor, and Mandfar Group, Old Mutual Zimbabwe, and Mimshach as sponsors, alongside institutional partners including the Ministry of Energy Zimbabwe and Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe. Through these partnerships and the conversations held during the conference, ZIMEFFA strengthened EFFA’s regional agenda of connecting markets, investors, and energy stakeholders while advancing practical solutions for Africa’s energy future.
